This privacy policy applies to the mobile game
Animal Merge Puzzle (Android package
com.kajobyte.animalmergepuzzle), published by
Kajobyte (“we”, “us”).
The game does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number. Progress and settings are stored on your device. The information described below is sent only through the third-party services listed here, so we can show ads, understand how the game is played, keep purchases working, and fix crashes.
1. Summary
- We use Google AdMob for banner and rewarded ads.
- We use Firebase Analytics and GameAnalytics for gameplay analytics.
- We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash and error reports.
- We use Google Play services for app distribution and in-app purchases (coins and optional “no ads”).
- Ads are requested as non-personalized. Advertising ID collection for Firebase Analytics is disabled.
- If you enter a date of birth for ad age settings, it is used once on your device to choose an age group and is not saved or transmitted.
2. Information processed by the game services
2.1 Google AdMob (ads)
AdMob serves banner ads and optional rewarded video ads (for example, a coin reward). Ad requests may involve device and ad-delivery information typical of the Google Mobile Ads SDK (such as device type, app identifiers, IP address used to deliver the ad, and similar technical data).
We configure ads with extra care for a mixed-age audience:
-
Every ad request is tagged for
non-personalized ads (
npa=1). There is no interest-based personalization consent flow. - Players may optionally provide a date of birth so the game can choose an ad age group (child, teen, or adult). The birth date itself is never stored or sent; only the derived group is kept on the device.
- Child and unknown ages are treated as child-directed; players under 18 (and unknown ages) are tagged as under the age of consent. Those tags stop the ads SDK from transmitting the advertising ID for those users.
- Maximum ad content rating is limited by age group (G for child/unknown, T for teens, MA allowed for adults).
- If you continue without giving a date of birth, ads stay suitable for all ages, including the youngest players.
Google’s policies for AdMob and related products also apply. See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob help.
2.2 Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics receives gameplay events so we can see how tutorials, levels, helpers, currency, and ads perform, and improve the game. Events include things like:
- Tutorial start, steps, and completion
- Level start, end, quit, and restart (with outcome, duration, move/merge counts, and board summary stats)
- Helper/booster offered or used
- Coins earned or spent
- Rewarded ad request, load, show, complete, failure, and reward granted
- Save/load failures and other game errors
Events are sent with the app version. We do not enable Android advertising ID collection for Firebase Analytics, and ad personalization signals are disabled by default in the app configuration.
Learn more in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
2.3 Firebase Crashlytics
Crashlytics collects crash reports and logged exceptions (for example, save failures or unexpected errors) so we can diagnose stability issues. Reports may include technical details such as device model, OS version, app version, and stack traces. We do not attach your name or account information because the game has no user accounts.
2.4 GameAnalytics
GameAnalytics receives related design, progression, resource (coins), and error events so we can balance levels and understand player progress. This is gameplay analytics only — not advertising profiles.
See the GameAnalytics Privacy Policy.
2.5 Google Play and other Google services
When you download the game or buy optional in-app products (coin packs or remove-ads) through Google Play, Google processes purchase and store information under Google’s terms and privacy policy. The game uses Google’s billing / Play services to confirm purchases and unlock the corresponding coins or ad removal on your device.
Google’s SDKs may also process standard technical data needed to run ads, analytics, crash reporting, and store features (for example, device identifiers allowed by your settings, IP address for network delivery, and language/locale).
3. Data we keep on your device
- Game progress, settings, language choice, and coin balance
- The derived ad age group (child / teen / adult / unspecified), if set — never the birth date
- Purchase entitlements such as “no ads,” when bought through Google Play
Uninstalling the app removes local game data from that device.
4. What we do not collect
- No login or player account
- No name, email, or phone number collected by the game
- No birth date stored or transmitted (used only once on-device, if entered)
- No precise location requested by the game
- No contacts, photos, or microphone access requested for gameplay
5. Children
Animal Merge Puzzle is designed with a mixed audience in mind. Ads default to a kid-safe configuration until an adult age group is selected. Firebase Analytics advertising ID collection is off. Optional age input is only used to configure ad treatment and is not kept. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, contact us using the details below.
6. Your choices
- You can decline to enter a date of birth; ads remain suitable for all ages.
- You can change the ad age setting later in the game settings (where available).
- You can limit ads or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings.
- You can uninstall the app at any time to stop further data collection from that install.
- Optional purchases and rewarded ads are never required to start playing.
7. International processing
Our service providers (Google and GameAnalytics) may process data on servers in different countries. Their safeguards and privacy terms govern that processing.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the game’s services or practices change. The “Last updated” date at the bottom will change when we do.
